Last Day at office - farawell note

Tuesday, November 29th, 2005

Dear All,

It has been three years since December 2002 when I am being employed by this firm. Lots of memories and experiences has been past though my life during that time. Smile, laugh and tears always make my day more colorful.

Now it’s time for me to leave this firm, however there are not much that I can say, it is only THANK YOU for all those lovely moment that I have experienced in EY.

To my lovely team of Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm, Djarum, Pundi Amal SCTV, Para Bandung Propertindo and Lintas Artha. Thanks for all those assignments that give me the great opportunity to learn and develop. I’ll always cherish all those stressing, frustrating and exciting moment that we went through together. I also would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Benediktio Salim, Narto, Peter L Butalid for the support, guidance and knowledge that you have shared to me.

Many thanks to all managers and trainers who coached and shared your knowledge for me, I have learned a lot from you.

Reaching back in time, I also wish to thank my senior and counselor, Puspa D Muljono, thank you for your constant encouragement and support, Sian Ne and Salomo for your support over the years and encouragement all along the way. Meli, Erica, Adeline, Putri, Nani and Charisma, it’s been a pleasure working with each one of you.

To all my friends:

Thanks for being my friends, it’s you all, that make Ernst & Young, a place where I want to stay, it’s hard to leave when you all are still staying. The ‘after-office hour’ and "low seasons" hang out and the praise and worship at JSEB fellowship every Friday, certainly were the moment I cherish the most. My gratitude goes to everybody in AABS group D (who I can not mention one by one), especial thanks to Dias, Lusy, Selly, Renhard, Ary, Elly, Dameria, Mery, Lita, Cathrin, Michael, Jimmy Noto, Jimmy Taufik, Deden Hendrayana and Lia, knowing you are all there means everything. Each of you has and always be my friend.

To those entire supported department: HR, IT, Filling, L&D, Finance, Pantry thank for all those help.

But most of all, I am grateful for all the wonderful things God has given me and shown me – not material things but life, friends and insight into my life, and keeping me strong through some stormy times. The list is endless! He is truly the greatest and He is truly the way to all that is good!

My best wishes for the firm and every single one of you.

Love,

Lisa Mok

I like to read, and when I don’t read, I’m watching tv. When I’m not watching the tv, I sleep. When I’m not sleeping, I eat. And when I’m not eating, I’m day dreaming. I love to complain, and complain is what that keeps me sane.

Apa kabar nih report pundi amal nya?! Here I go again…. >_+

Psalm 23 for the workplace

Thursday, November 10th, 2005

The Lord is my real boss, and I shall not want.

He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me.

He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without murmuring and complaining.

He reminds me that he is my source and not my job.

He restores my sanity everyday and guides my decisions that I might honor him in all that I do.

Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system crashes, unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body that doesn’t cooperate every morning, I still will not stop, for He is with me!

His presence, His peace, and His power will see me through.

He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me.

He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens to let me go.

His Faithfulness and love is better than any bonus check.

His retirement plan beats every 401k there is!

When it’s all said and done, I’ll be working for Him a whole lot longer and for that, I bless His name.
