Some ppl asked me whether I enjoy my staying in sg so far? it feels surreal for me.. maybe because I always wanted to work overseas as auditor.. so it’s like a dream comes true for me.

Lately have been working very long hours at client and office also on the weekend. :>_<;  There was one day that I had to work until 7 in the morning to clear the review notes (as I already pulled out from the client) then the next day was until midnight for 2 days in a row.. I don’t have enough sleep and can’t think.. feel so tired. Then I begin to wonder whether I can perform well in my job? As there’re lots new things to learn here. It’s like in Indo, we are more into U.S. GAAP but in here they use FRS. Then have to review the consolidation of 8 subsidiaries, which have operations in different countries as in China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Vietnam. @@

I did my best, but I guess my best wasn’t good enough…

… I gave my all, but I think my all may have been too much…

I was talking about the work and the review notes.. so, I was loosing my self-confidence in doing all these. Even though I love this job very much (my housemate said it’s so obvious because I always get excited when I talk about it =P), but I wonder whether I can do it well here?! Then I remember, the scripture that said ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil 4:13)’, so I keep saying that to myself.

This afternoon, as I talked with housemate (that I hasn’t seen for days, because of that long working hours), so I said to her like, dunno whether can do my work here?! Then at night, I feel so hungry coz I hasn’t had my dinner yet..so I took the fortune cookies that my landlord put in the living room (for Chinese new year). I didn’t mean to look for my fortune.. coz I was simply hungry.. =p but then, I found a small paper in the fortune cookies that said ‘ You will be successful in your work ‘..i was so surprised!! it feels like getting a confirmation.. and so, I think I’ll be ok. .. *wish me luck*
