Q1 2006 reflection

It’s been 4.5 months since I came to Singapore and started working at EY - Sg. I miss my best friends in Jakarta, yesterday was one of my best friend’s b’day.. talk with her on the phone for more than 2 hours!

So, in this 4.5 half months, I’ve:

1. Survive going to 7 diff clients. ^^"

2. Finished my introduction sign language class.

(It’s an introduction to the Deaf community culture and language class). I just got the certificate today, will start the next level in June. ^^

There is one person in the class who actually can signing the language, so after the class was finished, I dare myself to say hi to her, and asked where she learned the sign language before, so she told me that she learned it at church. I was like "really?! Which church do u go?!" and to my surprise, she goes to City Harvest Church too. She told me that soon if there is opening for the Deaf Ministry at church, she will let me know.. *so happy*

3. Finally sent the assessment form for the CPA exam.

Don’t know if I am qualified to take the exam, but at least I tried, will get the confirmation by July 2006.

4. Open a Save-As-You-Earn account.

So every month, $1,000 of my saving will be transferred to the account and can’t be withdrawn until the next 2 years. Btw, there will be a The Great Singapore Sale starting 26 May. *ouch*

5. Join a cell group and newsletter ministry (thinking that it’s a good thing to be planted in the local church?!)

6. Bible study is still on going (this week: getting started, lesson 5).

However, I am thinking of whether I can do more intensive BS so I can finish it before 2nd week of June. Since my sign language class will start by then (?!?!)

7. Japanese class will start on Saturday - next week and finish in the 1st week of August.

It’s good to be busy … than bored. =P
