Happenning

I am on leave this week..so happy.. wake up on 12 today.hehe.. =P

My housemate already went back to China for school holiday and my landlady also not at home. So I am home alone! oh nooooooooo………… (apa coba?! =P)

Last night I finally figured out how to use the washing machine. yay! (another achievement for this year. ^^) Actually my landlady already teach me how to use the washing machine, but i totally forget how to work that machine. Usually, she does my laundry togehter with hers.

Yesterday sign language class was really fun. We learn to tell a story using sign language. (bebari tangannya pada kaku-kaku semua. =P)

Another happenning…

On the MRT station, there are posters about youth festival. So from 2 to 31 July 2006 there will be a youth festival with a lot of sport events, community service project, workshops and conferences. It is sponsored by "SHINE - Do your thing".

I am so looking foward for the events, ‘coz I am one of the SHINE volunteers. =P But I will only involve in the closing event, which is 1degree Asia (www.onedegreeasia.org). Basicly, it’s a 5-day leadership festival that gathers young leaders from Asia region to discuss social issues..kind of thing. Actually, the volunteer briefing already started 2 weeks ago. So it is not really new for me. ( I read there will be speaker from AIESEC and Sampoerna Foundation!?)

Another things which still going on are my Japanese class and gym ( I like the body combat class very much). I wish my best friends were here..  we used to go to gym after work together back then when I was in Jakarta.

That’s about it.. ;) My best friends are coming to visit me this week..girls, don’t forget to bring a lot of Indomie and mie Sedap! =D

I was on TV yesterday!! ^^

So the Government is launching the 4 million smiles campaign to welcome the IMF delegates to come to Singapore for a meeting.. (!?)

During lunch, I was walking with my friend, and then a volunteer approached us and asked whether we want to take pic for the smiles campaign. so we were like..’sure..why not.’ (It’s one of the calling that is hard to resist. hehe…)

Right after we took the pic…then there was this tv crew shoot us and asked us to ‘pretend’ taking the picture (again) and ask for an interview.

So..yeah..we were on the news yesterday…even though only for a couple of seconds. =P

Long publication… short publication is Publication! *smile*
